Is the constellation Scorpius Western or Non-Western mythology?

Is the constellation Scorpius ( one of the twelve zodiac constellations ) considered to be Western or Non-Western mythology?|||Western

Scorpius is the named for a scorpion from Greek mythology.

Greek is considered "Western".|||Hard to say. Scorpius is a constellation that dates back to Greek mythology. It was not a constellation on its own to the Chinese (it was part of a larger constellation the Azure Dragon).

Scorpio is a Western astrological sign, but it differs from the astronomical constellation and the Hindu astrological sign of the sidereal zodiac.
