Which star has the greatest magnitude in the Cancer constellation?

Which star has the greatest magnitude in the Cancer constellation , and if possible describe the least apparent (i.e. What are the Major and Minor stars) ?|||The brightest star in Cancer is Beta Cancri or Altarf and not Acubens. It's not clear why the fourth brightest took the Alpha but nevertheless, they are 0.66 magnitude apart. Beta Cancri is 3.59 while Alpha is 4.25. See links below:

From above link, the least apparent, meaning the dimmest star that the naked eye can see would be 5 Cancri which has a magnitude of 5.99.





Clear skies!|||The brightest is Beta, with a magnitude of 3.52 and with the name Altarf. It is the most obvious star in the lower-right of the constellation.





The faintest star also having a name is Gamma, with a magnitude of 4.66 and the name Asellus Borealis, the uppermost star of the two obvious stars in the middle of the constellation.|||Alpha Cancri, or Acubens, by definition is the brightest. The dimmest--take your pick. There are thousands to millions in the background when photographed by major telescopes.
