What happen to the Constellation that Howard Hughes flew cross country?

Howard Hughes and the president of TWA flew a Connie cross country, the process they set a new speed record. On the way back, they stopped and one the wright brothers went for last flight in that connie. Does any know what happen to that plane?|||Apparently it didn't survive. Only few L-049's did. The only one in the US is from 1950 and is displayed in outdoor exhibit at Pima Air %26amp; Space Museum, Tucson, Arizona.
